What’s Love Got to Do With It?
Apparently—everything.
Because in today’s world, lust is called “love.”
Pride is called “identity.”
Tolerating evil is called “kindness.”
Denying truth is called “humility.”
And disobedience? That’s just “being authentic.”
We’ve stopped asking, “What is true?”
And started asking, “What feels loving?”
But this isn’t compassion. It’s confusion.
And Isaiah saw it coming:
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness…”
Modern morality doesn’t need to deny God. It just needs to redefine His words.
Wrap sin in sentimental language.
Make rebellion sound like healing.
Quote scripture with Satan’s intent.
But real love doesn’t lie. It corrects. It calls. It saves.
“Because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
And the Book of Mormon brings it home:
“O, how great is the nothingness of the children of men… when they are learned they think they are wise… and hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside…”
In other words?
When we decide what love means, and what commandments matter—
we trade eternal truth for trending lies.
So… what’s love got to do with it?
Everything.
Just not the way the world defines it.
